Rediscover Your Own Healing Powers

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine based approach to treating

a variety of conditions by triggering specific points on the skin with needles.

Modern research has demonstrated acupuncture’s effects on the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems, cardiovascular system, and digestive system. By stimulating the body’s various systems, acupuncture can help to resolve pain, and improve sleep, digestive function, and sense of well-being.

The main goal of Comfort Acupuncture is encouraging the human body towards achieving homeostasis, which is defined as a natural state of balance in physiological operation and organ function.

Woman Receiving Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a system of complementary medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles, used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

Electro-acupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. In standard acupuncture, one needle is used at each treatment point. Electroacupuncture is a modified form that uses two needles. A mild electric current passes between these needles during treatment. This current generally applies more stimulation to acupoints than needle twirling or other hand manipulation techniques an acupuncturist might use.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy gives results when the positive energy that flows through the meridians of the body is blocked. Removing that congestion then induces the body to heal itself. With this cupping therapy the blood is drawn to the affected area, thus energizing the skin tissue.

Kinesio Taping Therapy

Kinesio Taping is used to support and relieve pain in muscles, joints, and/or ligaments. It reduces swelling, increases mobility and enhances recovery.
